NBTA Lifts Maximum Age Limit

In the October edition of the Drum Major Magazine, NBTA announced to it’s readers that the maximum age limit of 24.9 has been lifted for the 2004-2005 contest year. The notice reads, “effective immediately, the senior division will include 16 years and older.”
The maximum age rule had been disputed for years by team and corp directors and older twirlers wishing to compete. The notice also states that with this change a uniform senior age guideline will be followed by NBTA twirling organizations around the world.
